God, are you shy?
If not, then why
Did you not come when I said a sincere pray?
Were you avoiding me, or just shying away?
I needed you because Devil had come calling,
In his mighty presence I was left appalling.
Without you then to support me,
From him I couldn't hide, couldn't flee.
He had come to bring me to his side,
And promised me all, if by him I abide.
What could I do but put my voice lower,
And in his presence bow and cower?
Bowed I thus to his might,
Without offering a single fight.
For you’ve plotted a weak creature
Within your own son! O god! O nature!
I needed you then, while making the decision.
But you came neither in dreams, nor in vision.
Taught I was to look to you in my darkest hour,
But you granted me neither presence nor power.
Now that the decision has to be shaped,
You, it seems, have shied or escaped.
So I shall grab my only chance,
And be called DEVILLISH hence.
